Entering on different levels of the academic spectrum the two turn the once peaceful campus into a chaotic one.

Similarity –While both shows are very different in terms of story, genres, and setting, the core plot remains the same. Both shows have a protagonist that is viewed upon by most people around them based solely on their social status that was given to them under a sort of ranking system like a review board; which was created with several inadequate fatal flaws that fail to categorize them properly. And yet, everyone blindly accepts that review board as if it was the only one truth, not unlike how many see the Holy Bible; while refusing to see past those previously mentioned flaws and only seeing what they choose to see, hear only what they want to hear. In the end, while the protagonists have a handful of close people who understand them, the rest of the world does not give them the recognition they deserve, instead of looking at them only with scorn, loathing, distrust rooted in the jealousy, and prejudice of their own narrow beliefs. The protagonists, however, are content with the way things are, being the better man to not let the misguided hate get to them that would utterly crush anyone else under the weight…while continuing their heroic acts with their superior skills, often without the anyone knowing their real name.

8. Zetman

Synopsis- There are two forces in the world: the Zet, who are entrusted with the survival of humanity, and the Alphas, who have chosen an extreme form of justice. In a certain city, Jin lives under a bridge with an old man, struggling to pay off debts. He carries the destiny of humanity’s survival. Kouga lives on a hill and stands to inherit vast wealth. In his admiration for heroes, he seeks out the meaning of justice. They don’t know it now, but they are destined to one day meet.

Similarity – Both share the same rare anime theme of superheroes, but Zetman takes a darker and more serious perspective on it with a more concrete story. The action is explosive on both ends and the main characters for each don’t really care about a lot of things. The anime also share in having enemies that are more on the strange side.

7. Beelzebub

BeelzebubSynopsis – Tatsumi Oga is a first-year student in Ishiyama High School, a school for delinquents, where he is called the “strongest juvenile delinquent”. One day while sleeping next to a river, Tatsumi sees a man floating down it. Tatsumi pulls him to shore and the man splits in half, revealing a baby boy. This boy, Beelzebub, is the son of the demon king, and Tatsumi, along with Beelzebub’s demon maid Hilda, has been chosen as the one to raise him.

6. Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo?

Mondaiji tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou Desu yo
Synopsis – Izayoi Sakamaki, Asuka Kudou, and You Kasukabe are extraordinary teenagers who are blessed with psychic powers but completely fed up with their disproportionately mundane lives—until, unexpectedly, each of them receives a strange envelope containing an invitation to a mysterious place known as Little Garden.

Inexplicably dropped into a vast new world, the trio is greeted by Kurousagi, who explains that they have been given a once-in-a-lifetime chance to participate in special high-stakes games using their abilities. In order to take part, however, they must first join a community. Learning that Kurousagi’s community “No Names” has lost its official status and bountiful land due to their defeat at the hands of a demon lord, the group sets off to help reclaim their new home’s dignity, eager to protect its residents and explore the excitement that Little Garden has to offer.

Similarity – One Punch Man is essentially what you would get if you took Izayoi of Mondaiji-tachi and separated him from the rest of the no-names. You get an overpowered and bored protagonist destroying every obstacle in his path in order to relieve himself of his boredom while searching for a worthy opponent. Both series are entertaining and action-packed, although One Punch Man is more straightforward.

5. Hataraku Maou-sama!

Hataraku Maou sama

As “conquering the world” are the only skills the Devil King possesses – and are obviously unnecessary in his new situation – he must work as a freeter to pay for his living expenses.

Similarity – Both main protagonists are lazy but have extreme power and have extremely loyal sidekicks. Hataraku Maou-sama! shares the same kind of humor that will be making you fall in love with the main character, and the stupid humor that both shows share.

4. Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan (TV)

Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan
Synopsis – Saiki Kusuo, an otherwise normal teenager, has various super-powers, telepathy and telekinesis included. This should have been cool, but through experience, Saiki comes to realize that having powers while trying to lead an ordinary life is a bad mix.

Similarity – Both shows are comedies feature an OP main character for whom having powers is more of a disadvantage than a good thing. A big part of each show is the wacky group of supporting characters that appear on the show. However, Saiki K is more episodic and slice of life, while OPM has an overarching plot, but for me, the jokes in Saiki K are much funnier.

Similarity – Both of these series are really unique on their own but share a similar humor and main character.
The biggest difference is probably the art Style. One Punch Man used the redrawings from another mangaka while in Mob Psycho 100, Bones went all out and used ONE’s original drawings. Which gives off a great vibe
I can assure you that if you liked either series the other is going to be a fun ride all over again.
