One such God Eater is Lenka Utsugi, a New-Type whose God Arc takes the form of both blade and gun

Similarity – Same character archetypes and plot. If you enjoyed the plot progression in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, then you will find more of the same here. The relentless action is delivered in the same fashion and characters go through similar arcs. In both anime, humans are reduced to living in fortified areas. Similarity – Nagano Kei in anime AJIN is not a human……maybe seems like an immortal human, just like Ikoma(The main character in Koutetsujou no Kabaneri), he is half human half kabane(Kabaneri). Each show also has an old friend of the main character who helps them, even after everyone else has declared them a threat to the rest of the society. Each show has a unique art style. 2. Tokyo Ghoul

tokyo ghoul Synopsis – Based on the best-selling supernatural horror manga by Sui Ishida, Tokyo Ghoul follows Ken Kaneki, a shy, bookish college student, who is instantly drawn to Rize Kamishiro, an avid reader like himself. In a twist of fate, Kaneki is saved by the enigmatic waitress Touka Kirishima, and thus begins his new, secret life as a half-ghoul/half-human who must find a way to integrate into both societies.

Similarity – This anime is more similar to Attack on Titan, with humanity being scared and hiding behind walls to survive against swarms of shit that wants to kill them. But, its similar in a sense to Tokyo Ghoul as well. The element of how people who get infected are treated, as soon as they are infected they are to be killed on the spot. The authorities here also do inspections and stuff too to see if you were infected. While in Tokyo Ghoul, Ghouls try to blend into society but as soon as they are found out they are to be killed on the spot.

1. Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin)

Shingeki no Kyojin or Attack on TitanSynopsis – Several hundred years ago, humans were nearly exterminated by giants. Giants are typically several stories tall, seem to have no intelligence, devour human beings and, worst of all, seem to do it for the pleasure rather than as a food source. A small percentage of humanity survived by enclosing themselves in a city protected by extremely high walls, even taller than the biggest of giants. Flash forward to the present and the city has not seen a giant in over 100 years. Teenage boy Eren and his foster sister Mikasa witness something horrific as the city walls are destroyed by a super giant that appears out of thin air. As the smaller giants flood the city, the two kids watch in horror as their mother is eaten alive. Eren vows that he will murder every single giant and take revenge for all of mankind.

Similarity – HUMANITY VS. OTHERS: [Titans/Kabane] Humanity is in the verge of extinction and has to stand up together to fight against the ‘others’. The main leads are charismatic humans with a passion to defeat the others (with both being half of the ‘other’ creature). Has steampunk vibes and badass fight scenes/action. Both main characters strongly want to eliminate all or fight against the main post apocalyptic enemy. Since this is a main point in both anime, it’s definitely something that you may like about both of them.
